Twinkl This site has a variety of explanatory power points and then has a wide range of activities for pupils of all ages to complete. By entering the following code (UKTWINKLHELPS) at, parents can obtain free access to these resources during this current global situation.

Corbett Maths - have worksheets on every area of maths with supporting ‘how to’ videos and answers. They also have a 5 a day section with mixed questions (bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels available). 

Literacy Shed – Has a variety of films available that can be used as inspiration for writing

KODU – Computer game programming. This software is free to download on computers but can also be accessed on Xbox. Children design and code their own computer games. 

Scratch – Ask pupils to develop their coding skills within the free online computer programming software.

Go Noodle – Exercise / dance videos to encourage some activity!

National Geographic Kids - – Online streaming service of books. It is a subscription service but you can have a 1 month free trial. 

Blockly - Learn computer programming skills - fun and free.

Ted Ed - All sorts of engaging educational videos

Duolingo - Learn languages for free. Web or app.

Mystery Science - Free science lessons

Crest Awards - Science awards you can complete from home

Paw Print Badges - Free challenge packs and other downloads. Many activities can be completed indoors. Badges cost but are optional.

Cbeebies Radio - Listening activities for the younger ones.

Phonics - Has lots of information and guidance for parents  - Has lots of information, printable resources for each of the Letters and Sounds phonic phases, and also links to games aligned with each phase. Offers a selection of interactive games for all phonic phases. Mostly simple games. 

Speech and Language resources from the NHS  - Has a great selection of games that link well with games in Letters and Sounds.  - Make any words with this useful game. lovely short videos to demonstrate the different phonemes and alternative spellings

Real PE at home – online learning resources

real PE at home includes an online programme which supports families to be active, play and learn together. It includes a programme specifically for children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with 12 themes, 6 areas, over 250 activities and challenges and 1000s of hours of fun and activity. This programme is also great for family play and fun.

It also includes a programme for children in Key Stage 2, with daily and weekly guidance provided for both programmes in addition to an option to choose your own themes and activities.

There are so many benefits to being active, not only to our physical wellbeing but also to our emotional and mental health, especially in such testing times for all of us.
