Fencing Competition

Lesson: Physical education

On Monday, 6 children from our Fencing Club travelled to Tirlebrook to take part in a Fencing tournament.  They've been working hard all term learning the skills to compete against other schools.

Well done to Sam who came first in the indivdual competition.

There was also a team competition where each team was awarded points based on the average number of hits scored by each competitor.  Ashchurch came second here with 7.8 hits per competitor.  Tirlebrook were the winners with 8.3 hits per competitor. 

Thank you to Joe O'Hara for running the club this term and organising the competition.

Huge thanks also to the parents who supported this event by helping with transport and watching the children compete.
