Fashion Show - Under the Sea

Lesson: Design and technology

Over the last few weeks children in Sapphire class have had the opportunity to enter a competition to design a T Shirt as part of Tewkesbury School's annual fashion show event.

The theme this year was 'Under the Sea'.  

All of the entries were sent off to Tewkesbury School and we were very proud that 9 of our children were selected to go to Tewkesbury School to work with Y13 textiles students to print their T Shirts ready for inclusion in the fashion show.

It was an enjoyable day and the children had great fun working with the older students to make their designs become a reality.  

The fashion show was a huge success in the evening - it's always great to see our children involved in opportunities beyond our own school.  They did us proud!

Huge congratulations to Maddie who picked up the award for best T Shirt design and effort/attitude throughout the day!
