New Build Progress 20.11.2020

We are very excited about the building work! Visiting school is tricky at the moment but no doubt you've had a peek over the fence at pick up time and have seen that progress is being made.

We thought it would be good to share updates with you so that you know what's going on at each stage and can see the new classrooms taking shape.

Here is Martyn, he's the site manager for Kier and he is on site every day. You may well say him around - he's the first in and last out!

"This week we have completed excavating the ground to form trenches, this is to divert the existing services. We also installed the services required for the new build. We have also starting pulling up existing tarmac for drainage and the foundations of the building."

Finally, as part of their community work, this afternoon Martyn has supported Reception's forest school activity by repairing their tarpaulin cover that had come down, giving them some shelter in poor weather - thank you!
