Medieval Parade - Sunday 15th July

Dear parents/guardians,

We hope those of you who are joining us next Sunday July 15th are looking forward to the medieval parade.

The parade is set to start at 11.15 from Quay Street in Tewkesbury. We have been asked to be there for 10.45 please. Our meeting point will be at our named, laminated card which will be in place on the river wall.

We will be supplied with a number which one of the children could carry. This needs to be handed in at the end of the parade to a marshall.

The parade starts at Quay Street and passes the Albion pub and down to The Cross. We then head past the Abbey and meet in the field opposite the car park on the Gloucester Road.

We have teachers and adult helpers on the day. You need to pick your children up  at the end of the parade.

In case of hot weather could the children please carry a small drink.  They will need hates and to have sun cream applied before the parade.

Chris Purnell is kindly working on something that the children can pull through the streets. The R shirts are available to collect from the school hall on Monday morning and afternoon and Jemma, Hayley and Teresa will be there on Tuesday and Wednesday too for anyone who can't collect their T shirt on Monday.

The event organiser has asked that we try to stay in medieval costume as much as possible. That means black/grey leggings/shorts/trousers for everyone please with their T shirts.

Last year the children really enjoyed it. We hope they will again this year.

We hope that covers everything. See you all there.
