Welcome back

Welcome back to the Spring Term! We hope everyone had a lovely break and is feeling refreshed for the term ahead.

Homework will continue to be given out on Fridays and should be returned the following Friday. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for organising and completing their homework, and to ask in school if they need any additional support.

In Maths, we begin our learning about percentages, including converting between fractions, decimals and percentages. Our class texts for the start of the term are Politics for Beginners which will support our reading work and Suffragettes: The Battle for Equality which will provide the stimulus for speech and diary writing this week.

In topic lessons, we are continuing with Come Fly with Me: America. This week, we have been learning about Native Americans and look forward to trying out some line dancing later in the week.
